“The View” hosts have been known to be so liberal that they don’t listen to reason. They sling insults toward conservatives because they don’t have the ability to think for themselves.
Remember, these are the same women who once promised to move to Canada if Donald Trump were elected president. He was elected, and yet, they remained in the U.S. They simply showed off their ignorance by saying “he’s not my president” for a solid four years.
Now that there is a Democrat in office, they can’t look to the White House for topics for their mindless conversations that take place on ABC every day. So, they turn to the Republican that they all hate as much as they hate Trump – Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis.
Essentially, the liberal hosts are furious because DeSantis has turned his attention on Disney, including stripping them of their special tax break.
Disney came after Florida first. They believed that it was okay to call the Parental Rights Bill the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. They thought it was okay that children as young as five be taught about gender identity and sexual orientation in the classroom.
Sunny Hostin may need to be reminded of the definition of a bigot. According to the Oxford dictionary, a big is “a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.”
“Bigot” cannot possibly be used to describe Ron DeSantis. Commonly identified as “America’s Governor,” he has fought for diversity in the workplace. He has fought to establish unity across the state of Florida. And, he has a large voter base that encompasses people of every color, religion, and background.
Joy Behar started the argument on “The View” by saying that DeSantis is “punishing” Disney because they spoke out against the Parental Rights law. As a result, it could lead to Disney paying $2 billion more in taxes, although Behar believes that it will be passed on to Florida taxpayers. She complains that this kind of action “goes against the GOP’s brand of being business-friendly.”
Hostin, a legal analyst, spoke up: “I can explain why it’s happening. It’s because bigotry is on the ballot when it comes to Ron DeSantis, right? I mean, that’s what this is about. It’s not anti-Disney, it’s anti-Black, it’s anti-gay, it’s anti-LGBTQ+ community, and for some reason, the Republican base responds to it.”
This is one of the most ignorant things that she could possibly say. The argument between DeSantis and Disney is about what is right. It’s about protecting children. It’s about reminding everyone that parents have the final say about what is and isn’t taught to their children.
For Hostin to start slinging accusations about being anti-Black and anti-gay is ridiculous. And it’s the typical way that the Democrats fight. They point and yell about someone being a white supremacist so that they automatically win the conversation.
Hostin says that DeSantis and the Republicans of the state “don’t want people to know that there are social injustices going on.”
The only social injustice is that there are people like the co-hosts of “The View” that feel it’s okay to shove thoughts of gender dysphoria at Kindergarteners despite what the parents have to say.
There’s a reason why DeSantis continues to rise in popularity – he’s willing to push back against the woke crowd – and people like Hostin can’t stand it.
